I'll start by saying that I ate here 2 years ago. I just made it back to Waikiki, and this was the #1 restaurant that I was looking forward to revisiting. I didn't write a review then because I ate my food so fast that I didn't have a picture to support the review. This time I took pictures first! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and it's one of my favorite breakfast spots in the world. We got the pork belly Benedict, Kalua pork Benedict, loco moco, and the mixed berry French toast. Everything was delicious, with my favorite being the pork belly Benedict on taro muffin! So good...
Get here early or you'll wait, but it will definitely be worth it. There is ample cover to wait under if it's raining, and it's just a short walk from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Definitely a lovely spot that I hope to keep returning to whenever I'm in town! -

Very good selection of healthier breakfast options! They feature as well a few local favorites such as kahlua pork Benedict's, Beef Loco Moco, etc.
It is a very popular spot on Ala Moana Blvd just before entering the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The servers pay attention to your needs. We went really early before the crowd. Can't speak to service at the most popular times of the day.
It is a homey atmosphere; well ventilated and lit.
Ordered the loco moco. That was okay. Couldn't complain about. Hubby had a fruit bowl with homemade granola. I'd say they're on the pricey side of the spectrum.
All told, they are a good go to for healthier options for all meals. Check them out! -

Ate 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. It was right behind the Kalia Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort.
It was quite convenient. The added bonus it was great food and service. Please try their loco moco, delicious.
My wife, the critic, ate there 3 times with no complaints.

Loco Moco is good and French toast is yummy!
Avail bowl is always the last to come out and it tasted bland for me today. Not enough honey in it...
We ordered all kinds of dishes and they were all pretty good.
They don't do an omelette creation and only offers you 4 different choices which is disappointing but if you like any of the 4 choices then you should definitely try it. The Okinawa purple potatoes are soo yummy!

The açaí bowl was to die for and the eggs benedict was even more delicious than I could imagine.
Ambiance: The diner was located on the second floor of what I describe as a little pier next to the beach. It is further down and away from Waikiki so be expected to ride a bike or drive to this location. The diner is not large so make sure you place a reservation on their sign up sheet as quickly as possible. Beware that outside seating is limited.
Inside the diner, there are not a lot of tables but you fall in love with the design of the overall atmosphere. It represents the true feel of Hawaii when I look at all the decorations and seating arrangements. You will be fairly close with tables to your left and right. I think their goal was to make it a homey as possible. Hawaiian hospitality is always the best and is tradition in their culture. This place is not recommended for large parties. I would say no more than a group of six should try to come in.
Food: I got Goofy's Eggs Benedict which was kalua pork and eggs with taro and kale as sides. The Benedict sauce was delicious, probably one of the best sauces I have ever had. The taro looking potatoes were a nice compliment to the main dish and the kale was a source of protein.
My girlfriend got the açaí bowl. The bowl was filled with delicious fruits and açaí scoops. It had cantaloupes, pineapples, bananas and some blueberries. A great way to start a healthy breakfast.
Service: The waitress was nice and polite. There was not too many waiters or waitresses around since the place is fairly small. The pictures on Yelp may deceive you because it looks much larger. The employees were nice and had that Hawaiian vibe to their personality. Even when we were eating we saw one of the guys, show up to work with his surf board and changed immediately into his work outfit. What a great way to start his day by catching a few waves.
